Join the Adventure! Child Prodigy Author Brings Adventure Academy to the Children's Reading Festival

Ransom Dominic Johnson, III is a name that every reader and writer should know. At just 12 years old, he has already accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime. Not only is he a child prodigy, but he is also a published author of Adventure Academy, a book that promotes problem-solving and teamwork skills among young readers.

 

Johnson has been recognized for his outstanding achievements in various fields, from oratory to visual arts, and music to literature. In 2022, he was featured as the author at the Delta Eta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.'s Literary Explosion event. He also won 1st place in the 2022 Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Judges Michael and Mary Robinson Oratorical Competition, an event that promotes public speaking and leadership skills among youth.

 

In addition to his literary and oratory accomplishments, Johnson is also an accomplished artist. He was the 2022 Featured Artist in the Broward County Public School’s Youth Art Exhibition, and his artwork was chosen to be the cover of the yearbook at Virginia Shuman Young Elementary.

 

Johnson is also a talented musician. He opened the 2022 City of Tamarac Juneteenth Celebration by singing both the National Anthem and the Negro National Anthem (Lift Every Voice and Sing). He also plays first trumpet in the New River Middle School Marching and Concert Band.

 

Despite his busy schedule, Johnson has found time to participate in the mentorship program with the Eta Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Q-Unit and the "2 Minute Warning: Children in the Struggle" podcast by Westside Gazette Newspaper, where he discussed the significance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday and the Survival of Black History. His efforts in education and leadership have earned him the 2023 MLK Teen Trailblazer Award.

 

Johnson's dedication to excellence has earned him the recognition of the Southeast Region of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. as the 2023 Children Who Inspire Us, Award Winner. He has also been named Student of the Month and has consistently made the A/B Honor Roll in his studies.

 

On April 29th, 2023, Ransom Dominic Johnson, III will be bringing his book, Adventure Academy, to the Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s Children's Reading Festival at St. George Park in Lauderhill, FL. His presence will undoubtedly inspire young readers to follow their passions and dreams, as he has done himself.

 

 

Ransom Dominic Johnson, III is a shining example of what young people can achieve with hard work, dedication, and perseverance. His accomplishments are not only impressive, but they are also an inspiration to all those who want to make a difference in the world. Johnson's presence at the Children's Reading Festival will surely ignite the spark of imagination in the young minds of his readers and inspire them to embark on their own adventures, just like the characters in his book.
